Pineapple cool whip filling for cake

Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 25 min

1cup fresh pineapple puree

1cup sugar

3cups Cool Whip (whipped cream)

Serving Size: 19 to 10 inch round cake
  1. Cook Pineapple puree on low flame for 5 minutes stirring frequently.  
  2. Add sugar and keep stirring until pineapple is well cooked.  You may add more sugar according to taste.
  3. Cooked mixture should look like Fruit Spread or Marmalade. Cool down the mixture completely.
  4. Once cooled, fold it into Cool Whip and your cake filling is ready.

This filling goes well with Vanilla cake.
